About this service

Full body polishing is a correction of the entire car in one visit. It removes the swirl web and the marks left by automatic car washes, traces of bad drying and general dullness. Every panel gets the same gloss, and the car reflects light as one unbroken line, with the depth of colour it had in the showroom.

The work starts with a two-stage wash and full decontamination: tar, iron particles, clay. The master then measures the clear coat on every panel and records it in a thickness map, and on a test spot chooses the right pairing of pad and compound. Only then come the cutting pass over the whole body, the polishing pass and the finishing anti-hologram pass. The result is checked under extra lighting from three angles, and the body is sealed with a sealant or wax.

It takes 6–8 hours and costs less than polishing the panels one by one. Light scratches usually go completely or become barely visible; deep ones are assessed by the master during the inspection. Headlights are not part of body polishing — add them separately as Headlight polishing + PPF.

Full polishing is a required step before a ceramic coating: without it the coating would seal the defects underneath. Kaizen masters are trained in paint correction and come to you with all their equipment, including their own water, power and light.
