Headlight polishing + PPF

Headlights haze faster in Dubai than almost anywhere: sand thrown up by oncoming cars works like a sandblaster, and the sun burns the polycarbonate yellow. A hazed headlight gives one and a half to two times less light, which turns it from a cosmetic issue into a question of safety on the highway at night.

The work takes 3–4 hours. The bodywork around the lights is masked, the hazed layer is cut back with abrasive, and the lens is polished in several stages until it is clear again. After degreasing we cut the PPF to the headlight contour, lay it and squeegee out the water and air, then heat the edges and check adhesion all the way round. Because the film is cut exactly to shape, no seams or edges are visible.

Why with film: polishing alone restores clarity only for a while — without protection the lens hazes again in about six months. The film seals the polished plastic, so the yellowing does not come back. This add-on can be booked on its own, without a main service; headlights are not part of full body polishing. The master comes to you with all the equipment, and the result is checked against a checklist before handover.
