PPF for the rear bumper loading edge

The top edge of the rear bumper is the flat strip under the boot lid that everything you load slides over: suitcases, boxes, the wheels of a pushchair. The paint there wears away slowly and quietly, and most owners only notice when a bare patch has already appeared.

The film covers the whole area the luggage travels across. The master washes and degreases the edge together with the surrounding surface, cuts the film to the width of the boot opening and lays it wet, pushing the solution out. The film's edge is wrapped over the bend of the bumper so it does not lift, then warmed and pressed down. The check is done with the boot closed: the film tucks neatly under the boot seal and does not get in the way of the lid.

It is a short job — 40 to 60 minutes. The film is invisible on the edge, while the paint underneath is shielded from suitcases and boxes. If the bumper is already scuffed, the catalogue also has rear bumper polishing, which removes fine loading marks and evens out the gloss.
