About this service
Nobody sees the roof from the ground, so for years it gets a quick rinse at best. Meanwhile everything that falls from above settles on it: bird droppings, tree resin, construction dust. The Dubai sun hits the roof almost vertically, and it fades before any other panel. Neighbours on a balcony, on the other hand, see it perfectly well.
The roof is the largest panel, and it has to be worked from above. We start with a wash and full decontamination: tar and iron particles come off, then the surface is clayed. The clear coat is measured at several points, and the rails, the panoramic glass and the aerial are masked. After the cutting, polishing and finishing passes the roof gets reinforced protection, because it takes more UV than any other part of the car.
The roof takes 1.5–2 hours. If you want the restored gloss to stay protected, the extras for this service include a Carnauba hand wax and ceramic protection for the glass.
The master brings his own equipment, water, power and light, so the roof can be done right in your driveway or in the car park. Our Russian-speaking masters will walk you through the plan before they start.
