About this service
Paint can feel rough even on a clean car. Metallic brake dust, specks of tar, industrial fallout and embedded sand cling to the clear coat so firmly that shampoo and a wash mitt leave them in place. There is an easy test: run your fingertips over the bonnet through a thin plastic bag. If it feels like sandpaper, the body needs decontamination.
We work step by step. A pre-wash with active foam lifts the sand without touching the paint. Then comes chemical decontamination with a tar remover and an iron fallout neutraliser. After that the master goes over every panel with clay on a lubricant, pulling out whatever the chemistry left behind. Finally the car is rinsed and dried in a controlled way and checked under a lamp and by hand: the surface has to be smooth and squeaky clean.
The job takes 1.5–2 hours. Decontamination is a required step before polishing or a ceramic coating, because both bond better to clean paint. In the Platinum package hand decontamination is already included. On its own it pairs well with a Carnauba hand wax or a ceramic coating for the wheels.
The crew comes to your home, office or underground car park with its own equipment, water, electricity and light, so you do not need to provide anything.
