Tint removal
Old tint bubbles, goes purple and leaves adhesive on the heating lines. Removing it without damaging the rear window heater is the whole job. On the rear screen we work only along the heating lines — across them they tear within the first minute. After removal we check the heating still works and wash the glass streak-free.

About this service
Window tint fades over time, bubbles and takes on a purple cast. Sometimes the film is also darker than allowed and risks a fine. Then it has to come off completely and carefully, without harming the glass or the heating lines on the rear window.
The master starts by inspecting the glass and marks the heated rear window separately. The interior and electronics are masked, the glass is warmed and the film is removed in one sheet wherever possible. Adhesive comes off with a dedicated product and a plastic scraper, and on the rear window we work only along the heating lines: working across them tears them within the first minute. The glass is then washed and degreased, and the seals and door cards are cleaned as well.
After removal we check that the rear heating still works and wipe the glass streak-free. The job takes 2 to 3 hours. We do not fit new tint — we only take the old one off. If an earlier attempt with a blade has left scores on the glass, the catalogue has glass polishing for that. Ceramic glass protection can be added to the visit. The master comes to you with all the equipment, so there is no trip to a workshop.
